In 1955 Alwin and Helmuth Lehner laid the foundations of an extraordinarily successful family business in their father’s laundry room in Hard, Austria. As an international technology leader in plastic packaging, ALPLA now provides its clients worldwide with innovative, top quality products.

Today, ALPLA WEEU consists of 30 base plants and 25 in-house operations. We are present in 10 countries and currently have around 5,000 employees, which makes this region the biggest division in the ALPLA family.

Home to the ALPLA Headquarters, 800 employees produce plastic packaging solutions for renowned brands in the food, beverage, personal & home care, oil & lubricants and pharmaceutical sectors. The product range includes bottles, preforms, caps and tubes. As a systems supplier of plastic bottles with caps, ALPLA designs and manufactures the entire package for customers.
