ALPLA in the MIddle East and Northern Africa
ALPLA opened its first plant in the Middle East in 2007 as a joint venture with Zamil Plastic in the city of Dammam (Saudi Arabia). Later on, expanded the business in the Middle East by adding plants in Jeddah and Dubai in 2016 and 2018 respectively, Dammam plant was later on expanded due to the growing business activities in Eastern Region. We were working with the strength of 360 employees producing high-quality packaging solutions for household care, food and beverages, engine oil, lubricants and cosmetics.
Taba was founded in Egypt in 1988. As on, the company has more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing of plastic bottles and caps to cater our international business customers in pharma, household care, cosmetics and food and beverages segments.
The global manufacturer of plastic packaging solutions which has its head office in Austria, was able to enter the North African market with a joint venture with Egypt’s TABA group in 2016, since then the company is operating under the name of ALPLA TABA. It has approximately 400 employees working on two plants, one in El Obour and the second one in 10th of Ramadan.
